What are we going to do with your work?

Bridging the Gap will seek permission from competition winners to publish their entry. Sponsorship has been secured, thanks to The John Wates Charitable Trust, and winning entries would be published in print and also on this website specially set up to promote the Writing Competition.

 Full acknowledgement of the author will be displayed with each story or poem published; every effort will be made to arrange this with the author prior to publication. It will be possible for the author to use a pen name if preferred.
